A nice pick up from the weekend car boot. A bit battered and that's just me at 64  so being 107 years plus they are a bit worse for wear with the eye-cups not fitted properly and with fungus on the lenses but could be repaired. Made by Carl Zeiss 8 x 24 Deinstglass which are i believe military and dated 1917. Serial number puts them somewhere late 17 to early 18. They still have their Graticules on the right hand lens as you view through them so definitely military and for a fiver (£5) worth it just to put them on display.
(also picked up a .30 cal ammo box which i'm in the process of restoring) happy days!!!

A nice find and would look great on display. What things have they seen in their time? Makes you stop and think.

That's a great deal Paul...I just seen a Zeiss 6x24 pair dated 1917 on eBay with an asking price of GBP 50.00 or $65.00 US.
Congrats on finding these!
