USA WW2 Stationary Set.

Postby Dave_Holden » Mon Jul 09, 2018 5:30 pm

Hello all.

Did a flying visit back to the Orlando Military Museum for a final rummage through their surplus stock. Found this nice writing set with gold embossed cover. I was informed it is WW2 Officers and was only issued to the higher ranking. I have totally no idea, but I like it as its near complete with paper and envelopes and better still only $15.00

My final item I found will post in a second post.

Thanks for looking - cheers

Great item to own and I think unique as I can't remember seeing one before. Well done I say. They seem very reasonable with their prices Dave. Regards Mark

Paul, would that be a simple fountain pen or something with a motif like a crest etc? Regards Mark

A 1940's period Sheaffer would do nicely.

Thanks Paul. Not sure if their expensive or hard to find but would be worth a try just to finish off the set. Regards Mark
