Nice early original US medical pouch for fixing to the waist combat belt. Not sure of date but lots of markings and a camouflaged bandage in its original wax wrapping complete with safety pins. Bought this from a friend of mine from a recent car boot. **==

I'm sure these bandages were like gold during battles, and much sought after by the Medic"s too.

Great condition.

I would have to think yes on that one Dave. WW2 for me. I have something similar but in a small metal box that has a pull tag to open that fits into the same pouch.

Regards Mark.

Hi Mark, I had one of those metal containers in Orange. The later ones were green. These were I believe made by Carlisle. I sold the pouch and the tin a few years back to a re enactor as I wasn't sure about the pouch being original?
Seems crazy that there is so much US repro stuff out there considering the amount manufactured during ww2.
