Skinny Swastika Flag.

Postby The Devils Bank » Thu Jun 27, 2019 7:48 pm

Not too clued up on this flag?

A veteran "bring back" souvenir, this chap served in a American tank destroyer unit.

He served in the Battle of the Bulge and the fighting in Germany at the end of the war.

Only recently, this flag became available =p~

This flag has a "skinny" Swastika sewn on to the backing, which I believe is a early type Swastika?

Was it made in the early 1930's?

Also, this flag could have been hand made?, due to the stitching.. I don't think it was mass produced.

A couple of holes, lots of staining and some possible blood, complete the flag.

Certainly looks the business and well faded. Old blood stains usually turn a brownish colour overtime. And no reason why it shouldn't be hand or home made.
