A few famous faces

Postby muckaroon1960 » Sat Apr 25, 2020 10:08 am

For those of us older than the internet or mobile phones, a few postcards from my collection:
Clark Gable, original official issued postcard with printed signature.
Audie Murphy.
John Mills, original official issued postcard with printed signature.
Ginger Rogers, original official issued postcard with printed signature.
Shirley Temple.

Enjoy

Great Cards. "Just a bit of am I right" Clark Gable, original official issued postcard with printed signature. He was Stationed at Polebrook during the War and I believe he ust to visit the Pub at Alwalton, The Wheatsheve", now known as the Cuckoo. Here on occasions he would have a beer with a very strange couple, Mont and Eve Ailsby.

I DO NOT THINK SO. NO AUTOGRAPH. Again a I think the other Pub Regular was Jimmy Stuart. These two "Old Cronnies" just hung abought. Didn't know them that well, but they had a few "Strange Storrys". The Fens where a "Hot Bed" of strange happenings. A picture of the "Old Rough"

Shame about the autograph as it would be worth a mint.
